Todd earned a B.B.A. from Texas Christian University in 1989. He worked as a systems engineer for EDS (now part of HP) until 1995. During this time, he worked on system implementations for state and private sector contracts. Since completing an M.A. in Public Affairs from the University of Minnesota in 1997, he has been helping environmental nonprofits make better use of technology.
Todd has been the head technologist for Environmental Health Sciences since its beginning, and prior to that worked with EHS founder Pete Myers at the W. Alton Jones Foundation in Charlottesville, Va. Todd lives in Charlottesville, where his hobbies include woodworking and repairing vintage sewing machines.
